INTER-LEAGUE CHARITY DRAFT TOURNAMENT "SAVE THE DATE"

Hey Guys,
For those that are not familiar with this. This tournament started 2 years ago, this will be the 3rd year. The league decided to give back to a charity also it gets other players in the league a chance to play with players they may never get a chance to play with. Current players and former league players are put into a draft and captains are chosen and they will draft their team. As a captain you can not pick a player that is on your current team in the 1st 3 rounds. This is a way you must pick guys from other teams. Our charity is EDEN for more info on Eden you can go to

Myself, Rob Shagon, Blair Astbury and Heath Lewis is putting together this years
2008 Charity Tournament. If Anyone does want to help contact us and we can let
you know what we will need if you are interested in helping.
We what players to start to SAVE THE DATE for our 2008 Inter-League Charity
Tournament............
Planning has begun and as details prevail you will be informed. Past and Current
Players are invited to play.

- Tournament will be on Saturday Sept. 20th and Sunday Sept 21st
          *Raindate will be Saturday and/or Sunday Sept. 27th & 28th

- Money Due Sunday August 17th

- The Draft will be Sunday August 31st, 2008

- This year will be $30 per person

Anyone interested please include the following Information:
- You can pay online with Pay Pal and or enclosed envelop $30 cash or check written out to CJSHA
Please email or include in your enclosed envelop your Full
Name, Current Team Name, Email and/or phone number, positions you play, and if you would like to be a captain. (Once we find out who is interested in being a
captain we will in-turn pick the captains.)

Then you can give the info to either Alan Sherman, who is usually around Sundays for
Pick-up Hockey or you can reach me through phone or email.......

ANNOUNCEMENT

As of March 16th, Matt Cento will continue his role as Commissioner of CJSHA, but his role will be strictly business and financial. Tim Brugnoli is now head of all daily hockey related issues and game operations, IE: Games, Suspensions, rules, Eligibility, Officiating, Appeals, rule changes, Etc.
This will start as of March Monday 17th and will continue through season 2008-2009.  Due to personal obligations Matt’s role had to be limited and he has full confidence and support in Tim’s new role with the league. This will only help the over all betterment and growth of the league and I do not foresee any problems with this change.  The league would hope that all players will accept and respect the decision made as we transition into this new and improved process for CJSHA.

Once again thank you for your support and understanding in this matter as we move forward into the future.
