CHECK IT OUT, ALL THE NEWS UPDATES AND EVENTS
To all members of the Central Jersey Street Hockey Association:
Unfortunately this past Saturday night, Gail Gresko lost her mother to Alzheimer's Disease. Anna Marie Maxie was 77 and she resided in Pueblo,Colorado. She was the only parent she ever knew. Her father was killed in duty during the Vietnam War when she was 6 months old. Our deepest sympathies and condolences are with Gail and Tom in this most difficult of times. Anything we can do to get her through this period of sadness would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I just want to say thank you to everyone that made the Central Jersey Street Hockey Association Charity Draft Tournament a huge success this past weekend. It was an excellent weekend of hockey. Close games which were hard fought. Congratulations to Blair's team which came out on top in a very tough final to win the championship game. Thanks to all the players who participated in this weekends games. We had a great turnout this year and collected alot of money for the charities, Lia Claire Sorrentino, Logan Blackledge, and the Wounded Warrior Project. I want to thank all who donated and took time out of their busy days to come to the rink and play or help out for this wonderful event. A special thank you to Blair Astbury for all his hard work on getting this event together. Also, I would like to thank Stacy Astbury, Danielle Smith, and Lynnette Astbury for all their help with the food and beverages and donations as well. Thanks a bunch ladies. I really appreciate the three of you taking the time to help out, means alot. Finally, I look forward to next year and another successful charity draft tournament. Hopefully we can have even a bigger turnout and raise even more money for the next charity. Thank you again for all the support
Player Movement
Captains – Due to a misunderstanding this vote was put out to you prematurely. However it will be honored. This decision circumvents the "frozen roster" ruling that was implemented before the season started. This is *not* the precedent that I want to set moving forward In the future when an *existing roster* player wishes to change teams he must put forth his request before either team has played 50% of it's schedule. The request will be honored providing there is a 100% agreement by all captains. If there is not a 100% agreement, the player will then be placed on waivers and can be drafted by any team. The draft will be held in ascending order starting with the lowest seeded team provided that team has not made a previous waiver pick. There also must be roster room to accommodate the change without cutting a player on the existing roster.
BALLS !!!!
Home Team will choose the ball color if there is a discrepancy.
