Just a couple of thoughts for next season. I heard that the team registration fee might be done with and instead we'll be switching to a player registration of $65 or so. I think that if every player makes a financial commintment that would be great. This way teams that have poor attendance might actrually get guys to show up and sponsors would only have to provide uniforms. Of course we would still be paying ref fees every game but i thionk it would be a good mood. Also highly doubt we'll have another winter like the one we had next year but maybe during the off season an alternate location (indoor) for makeup games could be arranged in case we have what happened this year occur. I love our court and wouldn't wanna change the location permanently but maybe just have one just in case. Anyone have any thoughts on this cause I'm interested to hear.

I heard the same about individual player registration fee rather than a team fee. I think its a great. I totally agree with guys showing up more for game if money is coming out of their own pockets. Some teams have no problem with players showing up but others do and i think this will benefit those teams. My team really doesn't have a problem every game but from time to time it happens and I think its a good idea and guys will show up more consistently and a lot of guys dropping out/quitting will be minimized. As far as the alternate site for bad weather play i think its good forsite but i doubt we'll have another winter like this one.

I personally dont like the idea of individual fees. Teams with part time players are going to lose those players. Our sponsor pays our league fee and we split up the ref fees. I dont want to have to pay any extra.

you won't be paying extra. Just $65. there would be no team fee. every player will pay $65 no matter how many people there are on your roster.
