1. November 7 - the 10:30am game (Enterprise vs Vutt) will *NOT* be played.  This game will be moved to November 21st @ 1:30pm
2. November 7 - the 11:30am game will be played as close to 10:30am as possible (Howarth Group vs Ram Law)
3. November 7 - the 12:30am game will be played as close to 11:30am as possible (Wildflowers vs Nordiques)
4. Daylight Savings Reminder - Set your clocks back 1 hour on Sunday morning at 2am.  If you forget to do this, you will be one hour early for your game (which might not be a bad thing for some of you...)
5. A vote was taken at the meeting to change Period times. The rule is being changed starting this week (November 7) from a running clock until the last 3 minutes of the 3rd period with a 4 goal or less differential to the clock stopping for the final minute of each period and the final 3 minutes of the 3rd period.  Too often teams are taking their time on line changes etc in the final minute of play of the period to ensure that the other team is not going to get another faceoff and potential scoring opportunity.
6. No Trash Talking or yapping between benches or periods.  One warning, and then 10 minute misconduct for each offense.
7. After game altercations will not be tolerated.  They will be dealt with severely.
8. Crackdown on penalties.
9. From now going forward, ALL MEETINGS ARE MANDATORY.  A captain or team representativeMUST BE PRESENT or the team will face disciplinary action (a $50 fine going towards the next meeting (payable BEFORE the team's next game) was proposed).  There is no reason that with 20+ guys on each roster that someone shouldn't be appointed should the captain/assistant not be able to make the meeting.

1. Reminder to check Players eligibility for play-offs, need 10 games and attendance sheet is on Team's Page.

2. High Stick Rule Penalty Amendment

   • Calling for the ball with no other player in the vicinity will NOT be a penalty

   • Playing the ball, attempting to play the ball, contact with another player with a highstick, (raising the stick near another players that the ref feels can endanger another player will be called. That will be a referees discretion.)

3. Brief discussion about a no limit roster but a pay per player that includes ref fees or a bulk team fee that also includes ref fees. No decision was made and just mentioned will be talked about at a later time.

1. Confirming 5 ref rotation

2. To re-iterate what constitutes a "Fighting Major" the judgement will be up to the referees and presented to Timmy.

3.  LOSS of HELMET RULE

   • Player loses a Helmet accidentally play continues until next whistle

   • Goalie Loses Helmet accidentally play stops immeditately

   • A helmet throw off or taken off intentionally a minor penalty assest.

   • Goalie Helmet is intentionally taken off Offensive team gets a penalty shot

4. Tom Gresko will fill in on Days when Tim is not available and will report any incidents or needed info back to Timmy.

1. Any altercation will be ruled severely, and if a punch is thrown you will be done for season including play-offs.

2. Captains and Representatives will make sure to check your roster score sheets to ensure accuracy and players Injured reserve.

3. If a player on a team walks off the team on their own merrit, the team will not be charged a roster spot.

Meeting Minutes 8/24/09

1. $650 per team...If you want to pay the ref fees upfront before the season starts, it is $600 per team, if not you can choose to pay every Sunday...

2. Helmets are optional this year...If you don't wear a helmet it is at your own risk...

3. High sticking rule- At no time can a player raise his stick during a game(calling for the ball, hitting the ball with a high stick, extension on a back swing from a slapshot, but that will be at the refs discretion). Any violation of this is an automatic 2 minute minor penalty.

4. 11 teams...20 game schedule with one team having a bye every Sunday...Game times 8:30,9:30,10:30,11:30,12:30...

5. Next meeting Sept. 14th at 7pm at Killarney's...Paperwork and league fees are due...No exceptions at all...

6. Start of season Sept. 27th??? or Oct. 4....

7. 20 man roster this year max...Once you have submitted a name on the 20 man roster that spot is taken.... If you start the season with 19 or less, you can fill during the season until you reach 20 (You cannot replace a player for another you can only add if you have not reached the maxium)... Players still must make half of the games plus one to make the playoffs...

8. IR still the same...

9. 6 referees this year...Doesn't mean I will use all six, but they are there if needed...

10. Court will be fixed by opening day...boards, netting, re surfacing...

11. This will be my last year as comissioner of the league...I will pick a successor and the league must ok it...More will be available at the next meeting...
